What's it for?
Months ago, we promised to do some filmmaking workshops for colleagues across government. Unfortunately, we never had time to make them happen. We're sorry about that.
So instead, and to make up for it, we're going to run this half-day drop-in session where you can pop along and chat with us about filmmaking, animation, scriptwriting, storyboarding, producing, lights, microphones, cameras, locations, video web hosting, and anything else besides.
All of the GDS video team will be there. We'll bring all our production kit too, and some laptops with appropriate software. There will probably be biscuits.
There's no need to book a slot - you can just turn up any time during the afternoon. That said: if you can, please fill out this form in advance, so we can estimate numbers in advance and get a better idea of what sorts of things you might need.
Hopefully, all of us will learn a thing or two. If the session is a success and there's demand, we'll run some more of them in future.
